2013 Belle
58% grenache, 26% syrah, 16% mourvedre. This Southern Rhone style GSM blend has a nose of cranberry & flint and has red & black fruits on the palate. This blend is a versatile wine that can be paired with most light meats, but would be ideal with cassoulet.
Production notes
The wine was made by gently crushing and de-stemming the clusters directly into bins without the use of a must pump. Fermentation was completed using commercial yeasts and then the wine was pressed into 4-5 year old French 225L barrels and tanks where ML took place. The wine was aged for approximately 2O months before bottling. No fining took place and the wine was filtered through a coarse pad to remove the lees.

91 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
This wine is 58% Grenache, 26% Syrah and 16% Mourvèdre. Aromas are a little funky out of the gate but open to reveal notes of savory herb, brown stem, smoked meat, black licorice, raspberry and blackberry. The cherry-gummy flavors are pure and fresh, with a lovely mouthfeel. Black-raspberry flavors linger on the finish. All about purity, it impresses.
