2023 Belle
55% grenache, 25% syrah, 2O% mourvedre. This Southern Rhone style GSM blend has notes of rose and anise layered with cassis, raspberries, allspice, and tobacco.
Production notes
The Syrah and Grenache for this blend were gently destemmed and fermented as whole berries with commercial yeasts. The Mourvèdre was fermented as whole clusters that were foot-trod and co-fermented with 33% Grenache. The wines were pressed into 4-year-old French 225L barrels where MLF took place. The wine was blended and bottled after 16 months in barrel. No fining or filtering took place.
