2023 Grenache
95% grenache & 5% syrah. This wine has a lighter body with rose, plums, and white pepper on the nose. The palate opens with mixed red fruits dominated by strawberry and cranberry notes. White pepper and wet gravel round out the finish. Nice acidity makes it an ideal wine to be paired with lighter proteins such as roast chicken or sockeye salmon.
Production notes
The grapes were gently destemmed and fermented as whole berries with commercial yeasts. The wine was pressed into 4-year-old French 225L barrels where MLF took place and aged for 16 months before bottling. No fining or filtering took place.
